1976 – The Roaring Silence

Late in 1976, the Earth Band toured the States with a new line-up: Chris Thompson (Guitar/Vocals) and Dave Flett (Lead Guitar) replaced Mick Rogers. The album that followed the tour contains the worldwide hit song “Blinded By The Light”, another Springsteen composition, and like the album was a huge hit. As well as “Blinded…” highlights include “Singing The Dolphin” with a super Barbara Thompson sax solo fade. Another great album.
